AXT, Inc. Joins SEMI Organization as Corporate Member

FREMONT, Calif., Jan. 31 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AXT, Inc. (Nasdaq: AXTI), a leading manufacturer of compound semiconductor substrates, today announced that it has been admitted to the corporate membership level at the SEMI organization. In addition to becoming a corporate member, AXT has purchased a Super License from SEMI. This license, which includes access to all SEMI Standards, gives AXT specific privileges in using these Standards to better serve its global customers. The SEMI Standards are well accepted in the silicon manufacturing domain and are also gaining popularity in the compound semiconductor (GaAs, InP and GaN) arena.
